Oriental Style Apartment
This project was both a nice job and an interesting experience for us. The owners of the apartment wanted to get an interior in line with Oriental philosophy. That is, a minimum of items and a maximum of convenience. That is why, when creating the project, we worked not only on the design, but also on the philosophical component of the interior.
To begin with, we asked clients how they see their ideal apartment. So, we learned more about the life philosophy of our clients and understood what kind of project they want to get.
- Minimum things. It is important that the apartments have more air than objects.
- Maximum air and light. The clients wanted to breathe deeply in their apartment and enjoy the play of light and shadow.
- Minimum of details. Clients said no to carvings, small decorations, overlay panels, etc. Furniture and walls without decorations were the best solution.
- Each thing has its place. We remembered that our task was to get rid of unnecessary items. But we also had to find a place for those things that were in the apartment. And this place had to be logical, reasonable, and aesthetic.
- Light and air are important. To be honest, apartment owners rarely express such wishes. But our clients were convinced: lighting and air are important details. They wanted the light to give volume to objects, complement and change them, and at the same time be comfortable for the apartment owners themselves.
It was a really difficult and unusual challenge. And we accepted it with pleasure. After all, there is nothing more interesting than bringing a non-standard idea to life.
We realized that it was necessary to create a spacious, bright interior, where every detail makes sense. It was easy to make the apartment look like this because it had a free layout. We thought over the zoning, combined the living room and kitchen (with a spacious cooking area and a tea ceremony area). We also left a spacious hall elongated in length. Furthermore, we were also able to divide the bathroom into a room for guests and owners of the apartment. In addition, we thought of a guest room, in which an adult child of the apartment owners could visit periodically.
We have thought over to the smallest detail the arrangement of furniture, lighting scenario and shades. The apartment has everything clients need for comfort and a pleasant life. And we are happy to report that our clients were very satisfied with the project.
