This apartment is located in Prime Park, an elite residence in Moscow. Our clients, a young family, bought an apartment in a rough finish and wanted to get a cozy and at the same time modern design. And after talking with clients and inspecting the apartment, we agreed that, indeed, it is the modern style that will suit best.
Firstly, the clients themselves were active young people who love everything modern and stylish. Secondly, the layout of the apartment was ideal for this style. The layout of the apartment was so good that we didn’t have to re-plan or change anything in the apartment at all. There were an entrance hall, a kitchen-lounge, a bedroom and a bathroom.
We kept this classic layout and added a little bit to it. For example, in the hall, in addition to a large wardrobe, we provided a small laundry room. In the kitchen, we installed all the necessary appliances, and in the lounge area, in addition to a sofa for relaxing, we created a mini-office with a work desk in front of panoramic windows. A large bed and another wardrobe were installed in the bedroom. As for the bathroom, it was quite spacious and perfect for relaxation.
The clients had no issues with the style. They all agreed that they like modern design and prefer gray and black shades. That is why we used materials such as concrete look plaster, drywall, microcement, and concrete in decoration. Our clients have told us they don’t like bright lights, so we’ve created a unique lighting scenario just for them. We made sure that the light in the apartment was not bright, but at the same time it was enough, and the apartment did not seem gloomy.
We reduced the number of additional elements because our clients preferred simple geometric shapes and did not like the number of details. For example, we used a slotted baseboard and installed hidden doors.
We also took care of the comfort and healthy atmosphere in the rooms. For example, we installed a hidden ventilation and air conditioning system. All electronics are hidden from view as much as possible, but still function perfectly.
We made almost all the furniture for this apartment to order. A washbasin cabinet in the bathroom, a TV cabinet in the lounge area, a bed and bedside cabinets next to it — all these are our unique designs.
All this: non-standard lighting, unique furniture, and gray shades — creates comfort, harmony and makes the apartment cozy.
