Coffee and Breakfast Tine in Moscow

Our team has a special feeling for Tine coffee shop. We love this project very much, and this cooperation gives us incredibly warm emotions. We can safely say that our client and we are like-minded people. We have very close concepts of beauty, so our work was fruitful and pleasant.

Tine: concept and implementation

Tine is a cozy Moscow coffee shop with an area of only 35 square meters. It serves coffee and offers breakfast throughout the day. Tine is located in an ancient building with a rich history: being at the beginning a stable, it soon became a luxury apartment for guests of the capital. Today, separate rooms in this ancient building are rented out, and one of the rooms is the Tine coffee shop.

Our clients contacted us with a request to create a design project. They wanted to look fresh at the historic location but preserve its beauty. And as soon as our team entered the room, we immediately understood what it was about.

The first thing that caught our eyes here was the old brickwork. It was unpainted and looked great. In some places, there were traces of ancient bas-reliefs, cornices, decorative rosettes, etc. And of course, we really wanted to preserve and emphasize this beauty. At the same time, it was important to make the coffee house not only beautiful but also convenient both for visitors and employees.

The clients explained that they would like to focus on the bar area. After all, here the drinks and dishes were supposed to be prepared. Another wish was to place as many seats as possible in the coffee shop. But it had to be done so that the coffee shop was not crowded. And most importantly, it was necessary to create a corporate identity for Tine. Before this, the owners of the coffee shop did not contact the designers, and the corporate identity did not exist yet. Now it was time to fix this error.

We started our work by zoning the space and dividing it into two visual parts: a bar and a place for guests. Having finished with this, we thought over the interior decor in detail. We have retained all those historical elements that gave the space a unique charm. Using light finishes, we added air and light to the room and made it cozy and warm.

As a result, we have a recognizable location with its own unique style, a place for morning coffee or Sunday breakfast with friends or family. We know that the Tine coffee house is still successful today, it attracts the attention of guests with its pleasant atmosphere, good coffee, and delicate design.
