Boutique in Moscow

The design project for this boutique was a challenging and at the same time important experience for us. We were contacted by the manager of a clothing boutique, and he made a request to create a project for the sales area. The main difficulty was that this clothing boutique from St. Petersburg has existed for over 20 years. This was a successful, well-known business, and it was an honor to work with this company. But at the same time, it was difficult because the main idea, the brand concept, had already been created long ago. So, we had to rethink the concept, give it a new sound, but keep the basic values that the boutique showed before.

First, we created a design for a boutique in St. Petersburg. Later, when the success of this project was confirmed by both managers and buyers, we began work on a new project – a boutique in Moscow.

A boutique in Moscow, in the Europolis mall, had 90 sq. m. Our team faced several challenges. It was necessary to separate these zones:

  • a place to store clothes;
  • shop windows;
  • fitting rooms;
  • sales area.

At the first stage, our team divided the space into functional zones. At the second stage, we designed these zones in the same style that we have already developed and approved for the boutique in St. Petersburg. But it was important not only to repeat the style in the previous boutique, but also to adapt it to the design of the mall. The project had to meet all the technical requirements of the mall, it had to be memorable, recognizable, and eye-catching. And our team coped with this task by 100%.

The most difficult point was to adapt the design to the technical requirements of the mall. There were a lot of these requirements: the amount of commercial equipment, ventilation features, fire equipment features, electrical features, and so on. The height and width of the equipment, the length of the partitions, were all-important. We also encountered non-standard requirements for the design of project documentation. All this necessitated a lot of attention, which is why the development of the project took us two months. Another month was needed to bring the idea to life.

It was a difficult task, but we coped with it and are very proud of the result. The design turned out to be memorable and interesting. There is a feeling of lightness and freedom in the boutique, which customers really like. And sellers are comfortable doing their job.
