Showroom for the manufacture of stone products

Embarking on one of our most psychologically challenging projects, we had a task to design a showroom for stone products. Our clients primarily crafted granite memorial items, meaning visitors often arrived in a melancholy state of mind. However, our clients sought to transform their showroom into a haven of solace — where visitors could find peace and support rather than emotional strain.

To achieve this, we began by meticulously planning the functional aspects of the project. We designated two workstations for designers, storage space, and a waiting area. Additionally, we carefully designed a guest restroom, providing visitors with a space to freshen up if needed. Of course, we also focused on the showroom itself, curating numerous exhibition displays.

Once the layout was approved, we shifted our focus to design development. We continued the theme of stone, integrating samples seamlessly into the interior. However, we opted for a light and airy aesthetic, avoiding dark, somber accents. Our designers and technicians meticulously planned the functionality of the space, ensuring adequate storage for items of all sizes, from large-scale products to small stone samples and tools. Additionally, we introduced natural tones into the interior, breaking up the monochrome palette with greenery. Warm, soothing lighting enhanced the showroom’s psychological comfort, making it a welcoming and calming environment.

Through thoughtful design and careful consideration of functionality, aesthetics, and psychological impact, we successfully transformed the stone product showroom into a sanctuary of solace and support.
