Coffee House “Fob’s 3” in Moscow

Working with the Fob’s franchise is a pleasure for us. The owners of this chain of cafés are our long-term clients, and we are always happy to start a new project with them. For us, the fact that Fob’s orders designs from us again and again means a lot, because our clients trust us. And we always try to justify the trust and offer the best ideas. And so it happened with the new Fob’s coffee shop.

Fob’s 3. New Idea, Eternal Values

This project began with the fact that the owners of the Fob’s franchise opened another, third, coffee shop in another city, in Moscow. The concept remained the same: coffee was served here, and breakfasts were available for 24 hours.

The main feature of this project was that the clients already knew exactly what they wanted to receive. The previous two Fob’s coffee shops were something of an experiment when they were looking for their own unique style. Now we have definitely decided on the style and worked on this basis.

The coffee shop was located in a new residence, and the interior was also ‘modern’.

We decided that it was necessary to make the room spacious and full of air. There should not have been superfluous elements, the motto of this interior was ‘the less, the better’. And at the same time, we should not forget about those design elements that create a cozy, pleasant atmosphere of a good coffee shop.

Our first step was to divide the space into certain zones. The area of the future coffee shop was 100 square meters, and we divided it into three parts.

  • A kitchen, about 40 square meters, where chefs prepare meals (including breakfasts and dinners).
  • Bar, about 10 square meters, where baristas prepare coffee and signature drinks
  • Tables for visitors, about 50 square meters.

Of course, when developing a project for a coffee house, the designer always tries to place as many seats as possible. But for us, the main value would always be the comfort of visitors, so in our plan there were only 30 tables.

For the interior decoration, we used high-quality materials: for example, porcelain stoneware on the floor, coffee and grass-green plaster on the walls. By the way, green is the corporate color of Fob’s, so its use in the interior was more than justified. And to create home comfort and add naturalness, we added lush fresh flowers.
