The apartments on Skorina Street are interesting for their design and emotional history. The fact is that these are not just living rooms, as a gift. Our client bought the apartment as a present for her mother to express love and care. And our task was to create a design in which every detail speaks of love.
Before we started working on the project, it was two apartments, 45 sq. m. each. That is why at first we turned to the controlling services to agree on the redevelopment. We combined two small apartments into one, 90 sq.m. We have created four rooms in this apartment: a bedroom, a kitchen with a dining area, a guest room and a dressing room. As for colors, materials, textures, etc. – our clients asked us to take full responsibility for the development of the project. They trusted our team and did not have a clear idea what the interior should be like. So, our team required maximum empathy and intuition. And we are happy to say that the task is 100% completed.
We took two styles as a basis: art deco and modern. After all, we needed a luxurious, comfortable, “mature” and “emotional” interior. We used premium quality materials: marble, porcelain stoneware, wide-screen wallpaper, wall paint.
We did not use stereotypical and boring ideas. Our team took as a basis interesting colors, textures, and materials. For example, the facade of furniture in the kitchen is made of brass. Brass handles and lamps echo the color of the facade. We also used golden shades in the decoration, but there are not many of them, so the interior looks noble and rich.
Many parts were made to order. For example, doors are made according to our individual sketches – there are no such doors anywhere else!
Now, the mother of our client lives in an apartment and is really pleased with the gift. And we were happy that we took part in such a project, to become a part of important family history, and to help the daughter express her love and respect for her mother.
