Ratomskaya 115
Living rooms in Ratomskaya is an open-plan studio in an elite residential area. And the owners of the housing – a young family – wanted to get a comfortable living space in a modern style. They were interested in working with the head of our company, Juliana Saidakova, and we were glad to cooperate. After the first discussion and a visit to the living rooms, we set to work.
Our first task was zoning: the team had to divide the studio space into functional zones. We wanted to clearly understand what kind of rooms the clients would need (today and in the future – in 5-10 years). After discussing with clients, we found out that there are a kitchen, a hall, a dressing room, a laundry, a bedroom for parents, and a bedroom for a child. The clients also wanted to have a pantry for storing things. Another important request was to make a separate bathroom for the owners of the apartment and a separate one for their guests. It was also necessary to add a shower room to the second bathroom. The task was to draw up a project in accordance with these requests and get planning permission.
Our team has done our best to make the most of every inch of space and harmoniously arrange all these rooms on the territory of 115 sq.m. We worked in accordance with all legal norms, so we easily received permission for redevelopment and started repairing the author’s supervision.
We created a design project based on those interiors that inspired our clients, the project that corresponded to their ideas of comfort.
The design was complex, but interesting. We used a shadow profile, hidden plinth, and hidden doors. We also installed supply and exhaust ventilation around the entire perimeter, masking the ventilation openings. At the same time, ventilation did not make the ceiling lower (and it was important for our clients to maintain the height). The width of the ventilation system was only 130 mm. is the smallest possible width. We also used a hidden lighting system so as not to take up space.
We are pleased to say that our clients liked the design very much. And our team, in turn, was happy to work on such an interesting and modern project.
